Jordan Cove LNG* is back, it’s time for our communities to take action to stop the project and bring clean energy to our region instead. In March, the Federal Government opened an opportunity for our communities to submit comments about the Jordan Cove LNG export terminal and Pacific Connector fracked gas Pipeline.
Following service on June 2, Medford UCC and Rogue Climate are hosting a workshop in Lidgate Hall from 11:30AM-12:30PM to help us all write and submit effective comments.
Will you help us stop Jordan Cove LNG?
Medford UCC: Comment Writing Workshop to Stop Jordan Cove LNG
WHEN: Sunday, June 2 from 11:30AM-12:30PM
WHERE: Lidgate Hall, Medford UCC, 1801 E Jackson, Medford
Snacks provided, all welcome.
*A Canadian fossil fuel corporation, called Pembina, is proposing a 229-mile long pipeline and “LNG” terminal to export fracked gas overseas from Coos Bay, Oregon. This Jordan Cove LNG project would risk the clean drinking water of 150,000 Oregonians, become the largest source of climate pollution in Oregon, and pose a major public safety threat to nearby communities.
We hope to see you there!
