Stop the Pipeline: Comment Writing Workshop in Portland

  • 350PDX 1820 Northeast 21st Avenue Portland, OR, 97212 United States (map)

Pembina, a Canadian fossil fuel corporation, is proposing a 229-mile long pipeline and terminal to export 1.04 billion cubic feet of fracked gas overseas from Coos Bay, Oregon. The Jordan Cove project would risk the clean drinking water of 150,000 Oregonians, become the largest source of climate pollution in Oregon, and pose a major public safety threat to nearby communities.

Will you help us stop this disastrous project?

In March, the Federal Government opened an opportunity for our communities to submit comments to our agencies about the Jordan Cove export terminal and Pacific Connector Pipeline. On Monday, June 10, 350PDX and the Power Past Fracked Gas Coalition are hosting a workshop to help you learn more about the proposed fracked gas pipeline and export terminal in Oregon and write your comments to our Federal Agencies.

Together, we can stop this project once and for all. Join us to make our collective voices heard.
